The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Payroll professional to lead our payroll function with confidence, accuracy and care. If you thrive in a complex environment, enjoy leading people and improving systems then we want to hear from you.
To succeed you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in a complex payroll environment
- Manage and coordinate fortnightly organisational pay runs
- Contribute to the processing of payroll requests
- Investigate and problem solve high level payroll queries
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- Sound reporting, analytical, evaluation and problem-solving skills
- Sound experience and ability to interpret multiple Enterprise agreements, Payroll, Taxation and superannuation rules and regulations
- Demonstrated capacity to plan and prioritise your work to meet deadlines and achieve outcomes
- Advanced computer literacy skills including experience in Chris21, ichris or similar payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills required
